Goo Goo Dolls at Madison Square Garden

Goo Goo Dolls bring their alternative rock and pop-rock catalog to Madison Square Garden in New York on June 23, 2027, as part of Def Leppard, Goo Goo Dolls & The Struts. The concert is listed under Concerts and Pop / rock. Ticketsbronx.net provides event and ticket information for fans planning a night at the Garden.

Formed in Buffalo, New York, in 1986, the band developed from punk and alternative roots into a radio-ready rock act led by vocalist and guitarist John Rzeznik and bassist and vocalist Robby Takac. Their breakthrough album, Dizzy Up the Girl (1998), produced enduring hits including “Iris,” “Slide,” and “Black Balloon.” “Iris” became a defining song for the group and a signature audience singalong.

The band's catalog spans more than a dozen studio albums, from A Boy Named Goo and Gutterflower to Chaos in Bloom (2022). The June 23 bill also features Def Leppard and The Struts; the supplied event lineup does not specify a separate opening act. Goo Goo Dolls' long-running career and emotionally direct songs make their set a strong fit for an arena crowd spanning generations.

Madison Square Garden sits above Penn Station in Midtown Manhattan, placing the show close to major rail and subway connections. That central location makes arriving by public transit a practical option for concertgoers traveling within New York or from elsewhere in the region.

Venue and Seating Information

Madison Square Garden has a circular, multi-level bowl with Floor, 100 Level, 200 Level, and 300 Level seating. For this concert, the Floor is closest to the stage, while the elevated levels offer progressively wider views of the full production.

Lower-bowl side seats near center stage, particularly in the 100 Level, are a strong choice for balancing proximity and sightlines. Central 200 Level sections can offer a clear full-stage perspective and may be a good-value alternative. Floor views are immersive, though standing crowds or production equipment can affect sightlines. Prices currently start around $120, with popular locations and demand potentially pushing costs higher.

Parking Information

Parking around the Garden is limited, and prices can rise on major event nights. Nearby commercial garages offer the shortest walks, while garages farther toward Herald Square or Chelsea may cost less. Street parking is scarce and subject to restrictions, so it is not a dependable event-night plan.

• Nearby commercial garages: Garages near Penn Station and 8th Avenue are generally within a short walk; event rates are approximately $30–$80, with higher prices possible during high-demand events.
• Farther garages: Options toward Herald Square or Chelsea are about a 10–15-minute walk and may range from roughly $20–$50, depending on demand.
• Street parking: Limited metered spaces are available, but restrictions and enforcement make this an unreliable choice.

To reduce the chance of high last-minute rates or a full garage, consider arranging parking ahead of time or using public transportation. Rideshare pickups can also face delays in the heavy post-show traffic around Penn Station.
